This is going to be a quick update since I’m going to be on a flight to San Diego tonight to attend the wedding of my high school friend, Steve Foley. In addition, I’ll get to see my parents and hang out with them!
On Wednesday night, Sophia came by my house to have a home-cooked meal of won ton noodle soup, ma po tofu, and steamed snow peas over soy sauce and sesame seed oil. Yummy!
Thursday night, I drove up to Oakland and spent the evening with Rae. We went to eat dinner at an Indian Restaurant and got our picture taken by this guy, Lak, who looked like an Indian Antonio Banderas!
On the walk back to the car, Rae and I saw this policeman filling up gas at a local gas station. I always thought that the police had their own gas station, so we found it curious to see this strange sight!
On Friday, we had a teleconference call with our counterpart group in Cambridge. We used the videoconferencing equipment to see them all across the United States. Cool!
It’s 19:41 on Friday night. Time to get to my plane. See you in a few days!
