Last school year, I received an email from the principal at the Mt St Patrick College in Murwillumbah, Australia. He wanted to show his students my Year in 60 Seconds movie to impart the wisdom that “every day is special” and emphasize “the importance of memory.” I created a slower, one-second per image version of the movie that clocked in at 480 seconds.
On June 10, 2004 (yes, I know this entry is very late), my Year in 480 Seconds was shown to the Mt St Patrick College student body! Take a look at the photo and you’ll see a veritable army of new tow.com followers! Okay, perhaps not, but it’s no less cool to see!
I really started taking daily photos since 1999. I haven’t stopped since, amassing nearly 70,000 photos in 6 years. Perhaps it’s time to update my Year in 60 seconds into 6 Years in 360 seconds?
